Meet Daron & Dayna Graves, Black Expats Living in Pedasi, Panama
Dayna and Daron Graves are childhood sweethearts (with a lot of twists & turns) from Milwaukee Wisconsin. They met when they were the ages of 7 and 11. You don’t want to miss the AMAZING love story that I would describe as a story of “lost, delayed, found forever LOVE.”
Daron retired in January of 2022 after 36 years with the Milwaukee County Zoo and Toledo, Zoo, and Dayna retired in June of 2023 after 24 years of teaching high school and elementary Spanish/ESL in Milwaukee Public and Private schools and a year for the Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, Florida.
Combined, they have 5 children and 8 grandchildren living in various states throughout the U. S.
They first came to Panama for their honeymoon in March of 2017. They went through the Canal and visited the Colón area during a 2 week Celebrity Cruise and had no idea we would be retiring here in Panama only 6 years later.
They now have been residing in Pedasí for 7 months since relocating on June 28, 2023. Pedasi is located 4.5 hours south of Panama City on the Pacific Coast in the Los Santos District of the Azuero Peninsula just five minutes from Playa del Toro and 3 minutes away from the local airport.
