Welcome to silver.international and in this video we’ll take a closer look at the Silver 1 oz 2020 Britannia Bullion Coin.
Just like the U.S. Silver Eagle, the Silver Britannia is a recognized Bullion Coin in the precious metals world.
A large percentage of European / Asian investors for sure would have a decent of amount of these Britannia Bullion Coins in their stack !
These Britannia’s are produced by The British Royal Mint :
* Silver since 1997 ;
* Gold since 1987 ;
Between 1997 and 2012 the silver content of these bullion coins was 95,833%, and the other percentage usually being copper.
Also known as "Britannia Silver".
In 1697 "Britannia Silver" was introduced to replace Sterling Silver (92,5% Silver).
From 1 January 1999 this type of "Britannia Silver" alloy is hallmarked with "958".

* Thickness : 3mm ;
* Edge : Reeded

In 2020 I’m certainly planning of buying a couple of Britannia’s more and add to the new silver stack.
