I made a set of UIlleann pipe drones for a good friend of mine, and before I shipped them out, I grabbed my D smallpipe chanter and recorded a quick tune.

Chanter isn't quite in tune, as I hadn't played it in quite a while, but I think you can hear the sonic possibilities with this sort of kit.

Ever since we started making the sets with the Contrabasses in low A, I have wanted someone to order a set with a contrabass in D or C. I haven't got a chance to make one yet. but I hope to soon!

I think the low D drone is a bit on the loud side for this chanter, I'd probably make a slightly less loud one for such a set, but wow, very cool!
