I found a few of my crow friends today and although I didn't see all of them get the treats, I'm certain that they saw it. So I think they all probably had a little breakfast party once I got further away.
They were giving out free coffee and donuts in the lobby of Fred Meyer this morning, which was a very nice surprise. I ended up talking with some customers, a few middle aged men, who were also excited to get a free coffee. We had fun making our coffees together and we were passing sugars and creamer to each other. It was a very nice interaction.
On my walk home, the sky had opened up a bit more. The magpies were playing and being social around my house and enjoying the sunny morning. It's a good day to be a bird!
