What's going on, everybody Adam here with E-trailer today we're going to be taking a look at the Titan chain snow tire chains on our 2020 Ford, F two 50. We're going to have a diamond pattern with these chains and we're going to have square links here. So this is going to be a little bit smoother than some of your ladder pattern, style chains. Cause the ladder patterns. are just going straight across. These are going every which way.
So there's going to be more chain on the ground at more times, whenever they're rotating around it's going to be a little bit smoother. These aren't the most aggressive tires chains you can get but they're definitely going to improve your traction. If you really just looking to stay legal and have something that's going to help but it's really easy to install. These are definitely going to be the right way to go. If you're worried about scratching your rims or anything like that, these chains are coated and everything else around here is coated too.
So even if you have that high snow and it's pushing up against there, you're not really going to have to worry about damaging your wheels. And they are made of a manganese nickel, alloy steel. So they're not going to rust away. They do come in a pack of two and they come with a nice carrying case. I don't necessarily love the canvas bags, but with this they fit in here really easily.
It has a nice little zipper. So this is going to last you a couple of different seasons. It is a really, really easy install. So let's go ahead and go over that installation process with you now. First thing you want to do is just lay out your chains make sure there no tangles or anything like that.
And then what we want to do is take one side and slide it back behind the tire all the way to the other side go ahead and grab those ends bring them back behind the tire and make that connection. While we're back here, grab the chains and pull them lower. Once you have majority of the chains, on this side of the tire. Go ahead and make sure that cable's tucked up behind there. We want our cross chains right here, to be in the center if possible, and then have our little hook to go ahead and pick a link and hook that on. Now, what we want to do is take our little red hook and our little plastic chain here. Go ahead and put it in there. Give it a good tug, make sure it's nice and tight. And then what we wanna do, is take this rubber tensioner go through these holes. We don't have to go through all of them but our goal here is to, from whatever one we go through we wanna go directly across. So that's a little loose. Let's see if we can do something like this. That's not going to happen. I mean, really don't wanna do anything like this just because we wanna go a little bit further across but it's all about whatever links you choose whatever's best for your tire. So I'm gonna ahead just go right here and go up. And I wanna make sure that, that is facing out just so I don't puncture the tire side roll or anything like that once all that's done, make sure it's all nice and tight roll over it a couple of times. And if it's still nice and tight we're ready to hit the road and that's going to do it for our look at the Titan chain snow tire chain on our 2020 Ford F250..
