Mac drives can become fragmented and degrade the performance of Synthogy's Ivory. Im running a single Internal Sata drive dedicated to Ivory on a 2008 Mac Pro 8 Core. This particular year Mac Pro is limited to Sata 2.0 which is 3Gb/s, not the faster 6Gb/s. Defragmenting the drive raised the voices from 52 to 76.
