Putrajaya considers preacher Zamihan Mat Zin as an asset in terms of the deradicalisation of extremists, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.
Zahid said Zamihan was an expert in rehabilitating terrorists, potential terrorists and sponsors of terrorism.
Zamihan is said to have a stellar record in rehabilitating Muslims involved in terrorism and is currently contracted by the Home Ministry to rehabilitate suspected terrorists at the Tapah prison.
