[Synopsis]
In this video, I am testing the SD Card Copier for the latest version of the Raspbian operating system with eeprom application. If you didn't install the latest version of eeprom, upgrade your firmware to the latest version then you will not have this feature. I have a video which enables you to boot from SSD and hard drive via USB 3.0 ports. That will be in the links below. Copying from a HDD to a microSD card took about 7 minutes.
If you booted Raspbian from a USB SSD/HDD, you could copy a image of Retropie to a USB flash drive. Turn off the Raspberry Pi 4, and boot it without a microSD card in it. Turn the Raspberry Pi 4 on again with the USB thumb drive and USB HDD/SSD inserted. Your RP4 will boot from your USB HDD/SSD, and you can make a copy of Retropie by inserting a new microSD card. This will enable you to make multiple copies or Retropie from your USB thumb drive. Conversely, if you had another operating system on the thumb drive, you can make multiple copies of another operating system as well. This is a neat feature which comes with the latest version of Raspbian with eeprom installed on it.
