Review #47 and part 7 of my Bakers Dozen series sees a little change of plan. There are those out there who knew which whiskies I'd be reviewing in this series and Loch Lomond 12yr wasn't one of them.
Apologies if you were expecting Highland Park 12 to be reviewed in this episode. That will come later.
Speaking of coming later...as a little add on to the recorded review...I do mention in this recording that there is peated barley used in this whisky. I struggled to find much influence from it but, once the review was finished, I took some further time with my dram and although I had to wait long into the finish to really find it...the peat is definately there. It actually becomes quite prominent. Just thought I'd add that in! Anyway.....
