This is a Slate & Copper Restoration project located in Reading, PA. The project included removal and installation of a 6 Color Vermont Blend (25% Mottled Green & Purple, 20% Vermont Black, 10% Unfading Gray Green, 15% Semi-Weathering, 20% Clear Gray, 10% Variegated Purple). The improvements included; 3 Custom Collector heads with English Tudor Rose, Gutter profile extended to 6” from 5”/ 20 oz from 16 oz / and added full support hangers underneath system, an increase in overall thickness of slate around roof from ¼” to 3/8”, 4 Custom Copper Chimney Pots located on top of chimneys, and Copper Drip/Rake Edge (During the time of this original install, Drip edge was not a code for area).
