This exercise can very effectively stimulate biceps and also work out the forearms. In this exercise, a barbell with weights, is lifted and lowered in a controlled motion in order to create a movement that stimulates the biceps fully.
Barbell Curl can be performed with variations too. By holding the barbell with wide grips the inner portion of the biceps are targeted. Holding the barbell with a close grip will stimulate the outer portion of the biceps.
