One of Ray Key's most popular boxes is the capsule box, shown in the video. The step-by-step sequence of turning a capsule box shows how to turn a box with matching grain and spigot type lid. Sanding, finishing, re-chucking and finishing the base is also shown. The remaining stock is used to show how to make a "coolie" box. This is a short, squatty box, with the lid shape similar to a hat. 45 minutes.
