I'm going to countdown the ten most things to keep in mind while during your run to the Costa Rica/Nicaragua border of Penas Blancas. Every 90 days before you officially file for residency, all paperwork in and signed, you must leave Costa Rica for another country and then reenter. For many that means trudging the mile or so between the two countries immigracion offices. There are things that can trip you up if you're not careful. I'm breaking them all down as of yesterday. It seems to change from month to month but most of these are very basic.
