This is a 1988 911 Turbo Cabriolet also called the 930 turbo. The original 930 turbo was introduced in 1975 as 400 homologated cars to let Porsche qualify to race the 930. It was successful and eventually went into series production. The 930 Turbo used a 911 3.0L 6-cylinder and turbocharged, which is how it called the 930. It later went on to use a 3.3L engine but the 930 name stuck. These cars were pulled from North America in the early 1980 but did return for 1987, 1988 and 1989 model. This Cabriolet was only available at the end of the 1980s. What makes these cars so collectible is the limited number around and the unique driving dynamics of the engine.
