Failure Modes and Effects Analysis is part of Gemba Academy’s highly recognized School of Lean online training catalog. This new course will teach participants how to apply Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to improve safety, reliability, and performance of processes, products, and services.
The first in the series, “What is Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)?”, explains that Failure Modes and Effects Analysis is a structured approach for identifying the ways that a product or process can fail, what causes the failure, how this affects the customer, and how to identify priority risks for action. Learn when to apply FMEA, the steps of FMEA, and the main differences between Process FMEA and Design FMEA.
