Precious metals investors may get a little intimidated when buying silver and gold at a coin shop, it can be a peculiar experience, but here are six tips to help you know what to expect and to make sure that you are getting a good value, you don't want to overpay, you want to know what you're looking for, silver bars, silver rounds or possibly Sovereign coins, make sure you handle everything with care when you are in the store, make sure you bring cash and not a credit card because if you try to purchase gold and silver with a credit card you will pay more, if you are trying to sell silver or gold, you want to shop around, you will find a variety of prices offered to you, and make sure you are dealing with a coin shop or bullion shop owner that you trust, when you arrive at the shop don't be surprised to see locked doors or a buzzer to let you in, don't stick your nose in other people's business, and make sure your hands don't have Cheeto dust on them when you handle a coin, and for sure you want to make sure not to eat Mexican food before your arrival because coin shop owners aren't very keen on you passing gas in their small environment, haha, and they don't like unicorn fart dust either.
