The Director of Public Prosecution has sought to detain 22 more Kenya Revenue Authority employees on allegations of aiding tax evasion to allow police conclude investigations. Principal Prosecution Counsel Duncan Ondimu says holding the suspects in custody for 21 days will facilitate forensic examination of confiscated phones, laptops and electronic gadgets. The development coming even as 38 KRA employees who were on Monday detained for 14 days pending conclusion of investigations moved to the high court to challenge their imprisonment.
