In this episode, I was on search for big land-based flathead, fishing around rocks off the beach at Cape Pallaranda in Townsville, Far North Queensland. There were plenty of schools of small bait fish and large amounts of jelly prawns around, but no predatory fish feeding on them. I only managed to catch one small Giant Trevally for the morning before i decided to call it a session.
