In 2007, Yok moved into a weatherboard cottage in St Peters, Sydney, where he encountered a mysterious spirit that appeared as a greyish-yellow, dust-like figure. Rather than showing fear, his friendly response seemed to establish a peaceful connection. Having experienced paranormal activity before, Yok had previously encountered various entities including a protective "sentinel" spirit and a troublesome "outsider" at another residence, plus four distinct spirits at his ex-girlfriend's house. His experiences revealed that spirits often choose their witnesses carefully and can coexist peacefully with the living when treated with respect. Throughout his encounters, Yok's natural sensitivity to spiritual energy helped him maintain a balanced perspective on these supernatural interactions.
