BUDIÑO is an uncharacteristic artist, a musician with his own accent; a composer who inspires admiration among his colleagues; a fascinating artist who has his roots in the Galician tradition subtly blended with more contemporary sounds.

"BUDIÑO & THE GALICIAN BAND" is his new adventure. This show will be presented in 2016 and is full of tunes that are included in Budiño´s albums, with arrangengements for his band and the power of a brass section.

BUDIÑO has released six albums so far: PARALAIA, ARREDOR, ZUME DE TERRA, HOME, VOLTA and SOTAQUE. His creations and his live performances are recognized internationally, and well regarded by the critics. He has also been awarded prestigious music awards.

The show is a new band formed by prestigious Galician musicians who will give a new light to Budiño’s works.

PEDRO LAMAS: soprano and baritone sax.
