Bethan is harvesting some food from the allotment to take to her parents so she thought she would bring you along to show you some highlights from her allotment garden. She harvests carrots, potatoes, beetroot, courgettes, green French beans, cabbage, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, leeks and raspberries.
Bethan has had her allotment for three years. She took over the plot in November 2014 and although trying briefly in 2015 to plant and harvest a few things she wasn't very organised. In February 2017 she discovered no-dig gardening and since then has been slowly turning her giant allotment into a no-dig system. As she has two young children time is against her and she is hoping that through no-digging she can stay on top of weeding, planting, mulching and harvesting. She started her vlog in April 2017 mostly as a reminder to herself of what she grew when and where but also to gain advice from you gardeners who kindly watch and comment on the videos.
