Coffee Time - Today we discuss why I hammock camp vs tent
Pro's
1. Comfort / Better Night Sleep
2. Staying warm in winter camping is easier.
3. Staying dry in storms is easier. Easy, dry, and clean tear down and setup.
4. Speed of setup and tear down
5. Cowboy camping / Star gazing is easier in a hammock
Con's
1. Need trees. Long distance trails can be tough to plan if you have to plan around places you can hang.
2. Huge Learning curve on hammocks. To get a good setup you have to invest tons of time and extra money into mistakes and changes to dial in your setup.
3. Tough to bring family hammock camping. Trees may not be close to each other and bringing extra hammocks and tarps can make it difficult.
