Our Day Trip to Shropshire, Exploring the Museum of Enginuity and Rosehill House
Hello everyone!
In this video we are going to explore two museums in the Ironbridge Valley of Invention, the birthplace of the industrial revolution, which is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
In the first part we take you to the Museum of Enginuity, a fun-filled, family-friendly tour through the history of motors and mechanisation. Parents, be prepared to get wet!
In the second half we explore Rosehill house, one of three Darby houses, built in 1738 for the son-in-law of Abraham Darby I, the Ironmaster. See family heirlooms in the very rooms that they were originally used and get a glimpse of the industrialist’s life, decorated for afternoon tea in the 1850s.
Hope you enjoy it!
