A beautiful but bratty 16 year old city girl is sent to live with her hard-nosed grandfather at his cattle ranch after her mom is deployed for military service. With the ranch in financial trouble, she teams with a charming country teenager and his cattle dog, Champion. With some luck and hard work, they enter a dog show that could save her grandfather’s ranch!
