Bandcamp is an online record store where millions of fans discover new music and directly support the artists who make it. Artists have earned over $274 million, selling music and merch on the site to date, a total that is increasing by around $7 million a month, making it a vital tool for independent artists and labels. Bandcamp UK label representative and indie label boss Aly Gillani will talk about how artists and labels use Bandcamp, strategies to bring in the most income, and how to stand out on the site.
This presentation by Aly Gillani was recorded on Saturday, Nov 17, 2018.

The Innovation Network of European Showcases (INES) is a European cooperation project initiated by eight international showcase festivals and gigmit, the European digital platform for artist booking co-funded by the CREATIVE EUROPE program of the European Union. Education is the foundation of a successful industry. INES aims to make knowledge more sustainable and accessible to everyone in the music business by video recording panels, workshops, presentations and discussions that happen live at the INES showcase festival conferences and create an open source video library for music business education out of those videos.
