This is a 1998 GMC Savana 2500 with a 5.7 L engine in it. It has 210,000 miles on it and it developed a ticking/knocking noise, probably more of a ticking noise. So I changed my oil, removed the oil pan, and cleaned everything with a rag and also got a new NAPA gold oil filter. I put in the new filter, new oil, and 1300 miles later change my oil after putting some Lucas oil stabilizer in it and these metal shavings we’re on the end of the drain plug.
