UN Human Rights Chief Navi Pillay calls on States to uphold women's rights by adhering to international laws and standards.
"Under international laws and standards, there is a clear State responsibility to uphold womens rights and ensure freedom from discrimination, whether it occurs in the street, in the office or at home," Navi Pillay, UN Human Rights chief says.
