A visit to the BBQ in Howleys Quay ,Live Music ,The Continental Market followed by Live Music in Arthurs Quay Park.

LIMERICK'S annual Riverfest extravaganza takes place this weekend with a packed schedule of events over four days.
It is estimated that up to €20m will be generated in visitor spend over the weekend, with more than 40,000 people expected to enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend in the city.
Whatever you fancy this weekend, the city has got it all, including the largest BBQ in the country, a free live open air rock concert, a water sports extravaganza.
Running until Monday evening the festival aims to showcase "all that is great about Limerick city".
With Limerick being the uncrowned sporting capital and a European City of Sport for 2011, thousands of rugby fans will again descend on the city this afternoon see Munster take on Harlequins in the Amlin Cup semi-final at Thomond Park Stadium.
On Sunday thousands more will run off the excesses of the weekend in the Great Limerick Run with three courses for every level of fitness.
Other highlights include the Continental Market, The Great Limerick BBQ, Limerick Live at Arthur's Quay Park, The Coronas at the Big Top at the Milk Market and a spectacular fireworks display

Riverfest showcases and celebrates all that's great about Limerick City -- highlighting and revelling in our art, culture, music, sport and food. Riverfest is a city wide series of events including: a huge BBQ Competition, a riverside Continental Food Market, Fireworks, Free Open air Concerts, Fashion Events, Vintage Flea Markets, Currach Racing, Junior & Senior Fishing Competitions, and lots more including the Great Limerick Run and Munster v Harlequins in Thomond Park.

Limerick will host a spectacular party on the banks of the River Shannon over the May Bank Holiday weekend as the 2011 European City of Sport hosts its annual Riverfest Summer Festival!
Ireland's largest BBQ, a FREE live open air rock concert, a water sports extravaganza and a huge fireworks display over the Shannon are just some of the highlights of the four day event.
Riverfest will take place between April 29th-May 2nd and the festival aims to showcase all that is great about Limerick city, from the best resource of the river Shannon to the music, sporting, artistic and food communities.
This year thousands of rugby fans will also enjoy the festivities as they flood into Limerick over the May Bank Holiday weekend to see Munster take on Harlequins in the Amlin Cup semi-final at Thomond Park Stadium while thousands more will arrive in the city to participate in the Great Limerick Run.
