Review on Tidal 110 vs Aquaclear 110 - better? Here is a link to the tidal product page on amazon. There are tons of reviews there claiming it to be better than the aquaclear. I'm still a bit undecided..
Doing some research on my review of the tidal 110 vs aquaclear 110.
I absolutely hate marine land filters. I plan to try out the tidal for one of my smaller tanks. And I already swear by aquarclears as far as HOBs go. But man do marine lands suck. The bio wheels stop moving after a month. They come with these shitty cartridges that don't do anything. They are loud as hell. [ Ссылка ]
They are prone to sucking up substrate which ruin them faster. For like 10 dollars more you get practically a mini fluval canister filter called the aqua clear. They are quiet. Reliable. Smooth. Nice looking. Come with awesome mechanical, chemical, biological, filtration that is high quality and lasts long. They start up easy and just relieve your stress because that's all marineland gave me. Yeah Im not even basing this off one experience. Every marineland I have owned ends up in the trash or I rage quit and take the hammer to it. The biowheels stop working. I reposition them and they work for like 10 minutes and I come back and they completely stop.
I had the same issue, bio-wheels stopping and drying out, as Ethan. Switched all tanks to Aquaclears. My lfs uses Tidals on all their tanks, both Marine and Freshwater. I ask to inspect the filter baskets occasionally, and have never seen one that flows past the basket. But, they regularly maintenance their filters. The units are quiet, quieter than the Marinelands they stopped selling and took off. The self priming and the skimmers are the main reasons I will replace my Aquaclears in time with Tidals. Of course, with these filters it will take some time to wear them out. I had one last 15 years. Sicce came up with a great design and partnering with SeaChem to distribute is a great idea. With the Tidal filters just over a year on the market, let's see how they hold up.
at my place a nice form purple betta isn't really common (without mixing red) if you're interested in learning more bout judging bettas and stuff, join Betta Kazoku and its a betta thing, some of the groups i strongly recommend. Aquaclear vs the competition.
I imagine they hitched a ride on something. There’s a slim chance they were in the water. Eggs maybe that survived the treatment process? They mainly eat algae. And lots of smaller fish may eat them. In my betta tank I have some other tiny fish and 2 mystery snails. One snail is around the size of a quarter. The other is about the size of a pinky nail. (Very small) When I bought him I forgot to ask if they grow. Does anyone know? I know it’s a stupid question but I know nothing about snails other then how to take care of it.
Tidal filters are awesome. Yes! I had one that grew to almost a golf ball size. But he was in a heated and well fed tank. The ones a friend of mine have didn't get nearly as big. You can actually see growth lines on the shell as it grows it'll appear near their body end. The shell is similar to our nails. Snails do need a higher ph to properly grow their shells I had added a bone bit in the filter for this.
Put a nerite snail on my Iggys log so they could craw from their and Iggy knocks it off her log and he was upside down had to set him upside right. I guess they are ok anywhere except her log.
Tidal vs aquaclear filter challenge. I don’t think that particular fish is worth $75. But it’s in the eye of the beholder. More you look around more you’ll see what should be higher priced and what shouldn’t be. But like I said, if you are in love with that one. Then, it’s worth $75.
Not really. I’m so new to Bettas. I got two for my 3 year old twins about a month ago, joined this group and learned so much and now I’m obsessed and want my own. It escalatedgreat tidal filters for Betta fish.
