This engine (1CD-FTV) is used in the Toyota Corolla, RAV4, Avensis and other vehicles. Recommended fuel filter change interval is: 4 year or 60000 km. Some symptoms of a bad fuel filter are: hard starting, stalling, random misfires or rough idle.
