Jennifer Schuett was only 8 years old when she was kidnapped from her bedroom, raped, strangled, and left for dead in a field. After her attacker slit her throat, she was told she may never talk again, but she did regain her voice, and she used it to find the man who did this to her.

18 years would pass before Detective Tim Cromie of the Dickinson Police Department was assigned Jennifer's case. Working with Agent Richard Rennison of the FBI, the two developed a plan, and submitted evidence for DNA testing. A year later, they had a name.

In this interview, Jennifer Schuett and Detective Cromie recount how they persevered to identify and locate Jennifer's attacker.
