I am an improviser. And so are you. Reading the last sentence you made a decision-“yes I am”or “no I’m not”. We just played an improv game. You said yes or no and your decision influenced the narrative. You didn’t plan for it before reading it however we just built a story together.If we apply an improv and performance paradigm to our daily interactions, we can reflect on how we use performance in everyday life.Together, we will explore how theatre, improv,and play can strengthen this performance, creating emotional connection and authenticity.Borrowing from the physics definition of resonance, we will explore how improv and theatre can create powerful vibrations. And how the echoing and oscillation of these vibrations can lead to powerful change through play.
