Four giant sculptures have arrived on Sentosa's sandy shores to invite visitors to contemplate the value of trash. Each standing over five metres tall, the sculptures by Danish artist Thomas Dambo are made out of 5.5 tonnes of reclaimed wood donated by local companies. Decorations were made from discarded plastic waste -- some collected from Sentosa. Together, they tell a story of how man-made materials like plastics can disrupt the natural environment. The sculptures will be on display along Palawan Beach for two years.
