Explore the Kent town of Folkestone, surely one of the best places to visit in the United Kingdom and also one of the best Places to Visit in the UK, in this sunny Folkestone walking tour. Folkestone is a port town on the English Channel, and is the English terminus of the Channel Tunnel. It's also situated at the foot of the North Downs, and you can follow both the North Downs Way footpath and the Saxon Shore Way from the town. It also has one of the widest and best beaches in Britain, and you can follow it all the way to Dymchurch.

Two must see attractions of Folkestone are the Old High Street with it's brightly painted independent shops either side of a winding cobbled lane, and the Folkestone Harbour, with it's picturesque boats and surrounding fish restaurants.
