Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi welcomes the initiative of France to send instructors to Ukraine to train Ukrainian servicemen and signed documents that will allow the first French instructors to visit Ukrainian training centers.
Ukraine should be allowed to use French weapons, including long-range missiles, against targets inside Russia from which Moscow attacks Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron said Monday. Macron said he thinks that France should allow Ukrainian people to neutralize the military sites from which the missiles are fired and, basically, the military sites from which Ukraine is attacked.
“Ukrainian soil is being attacked from bases in Russia. So how do we explain to the Ukrainians that we’re going to have to protect these towns … if we tell them, you are not allowed to hit the point from which the missiles are fired?”
France has supplied Ukraine with an unknown number of SCALP cruise missiles.
