Coronavirus cases in India neared the 80,000-figure after witnessing the second-highest single-day cases on Thursday since the start of the outbreak. As many as 3,722 fresh cases of Covid-19 were discovered and 134 people died from the virus across all the states in the last 24 hour. As of Thursday morning, the overall positive cases of the deadly pathogen stood at 78,003, out of which 26,235 have been cured and discharged while 2,549 died since the pandemic started.
