Limon hosts the "black cities" of Costa Rica. Unlike the Pacific Coast, this province along the Caribbean Coast is heavily populated with descendants of Jamaican immigrants who worked the early banana plantations from as early as 1850s.
Check out our other video when we went to look for "The Jamaicans of Costa Rica". There is even a "Jamaica Town" there that the locals pointed us to.
Go check out this place in Costa Rica where locals spoke the Jamaican dialect, "patwah" or patois and eat the Jamaican foods.
It will be an amazing experience for you.
