We finish up this build by putting a handle, guard, and pommel nut on the World War 2 Fairbairns-Sykes fighting knife here @RinaldoFamilyMetalworks and we couldn't be happier. We used makume gane for the guard and nut and COPPER carbon fiber for the handle! It was totally worth your wait on this one and I hope you enjoy this video.
Did you know there's a whole Instagram feed on the Fairbairns-Sykes Fighting knife, it's history and more? It can be found here at [ Ссылка ]
Here's where you can find the carbon fiber we used. The guys over @carbonwaves have so much more than just the type we used. I found them on Etsy at this website [ Ссылка ] and you should go see their channel to see some of their other products! I would have destroyed that piece had they not helped me. Thanks, Carbon Waves Team!
Here are some of the tools I used in this part of the build.
