In this clip, Bill Duke spoke about his documentaries Dark Girls and Light Girls, respectively, and touched on some of the overarching themes of the films. He talked about the ingrained self-hatred that colorism breeds and how it is directly connected to the "Field Negro" - "House Negro" dichotomy. Bill Duke also discussed skin bleaching being a $50 billion business, adding, "everybody wants to be Black but us."
