Dog Training in Maryland | The Canine Training Center (The CTC) Board and Train Program
Diesel a one year old hound mix was sent to The Canine Training Center to get his high level of energy under control. Diesel was biting at his owners, jumping on them and guests, and pulling on the leash. His pulling was dangerous, as he was pulling the owners down when they took him for a walk.
Our goal was to get Diesel under control by teaching him basic commands, and making sure that he listened no matter what distractions were around him. By teaching him to effectively communicate with humans, we opened up a new world to him. He was able to control his energy, and make the right choices even in the most difficult circumstances.
We love working with high energy dogs, and helping owners communicate better with them, so they can develop a closer relationship.
From the owner one month after Diesel completed the Board and Train Program:
"Diesel's doing wonderfully. He's mellowed out quite a bit and he's very eager to please. We're working on duration and distractions currently. He's becoming more and more focused and the communication we have now is amazing! He's calmed down with his food and toy aggression considerably and he seems to be beginning to let go of his fears completely, which is GREAT. Truly cannot thank you enough, he's such a gentleman now and an even BIGGER hit with the ladies haha if you thought it was even possible . But thank you thank you thank you, I truly appreciate the dedication and attention you've shown us and Diesel."
