My solo narrowboating tales from September to November. We started with some sunshine, the perfect whether for foraging, and were then hit by floods in Northampton. Luckily, the spot I was moored in wasn’t too perilous. I cruised with many friends, tackling Blisworth tunnel and then returning to Milton Keynes and detouring in and out of Leighton Buzzard for the annual ‘Dirt Half’ marathon. My venturing was finished off with some surprise snow ahead of the boat being craned out of the water ahead of my travels away from the British waterways this Winter.
