On Device Solutions is a specialist SAP Asset Manager(SAM) implementation partner. Standard SAM primarily integrates with the SAP PM module. In this video, we are going to show you how we have enhanced SAP Asset Manager in a seamless way to include the SAP Quality Management module calibration process. The enhancement technique used here can be used to deliver any customer-specific enhancement to SAP Asset Manager.
In this demo, we are going to see the process for calibration of a ProPress SP Porcelain Furnace. The calibration is carried out using the ProCal Calibration device. As a calibration process, we must monitor the temperature at 3 different places using the low, medium, and high-temperature calibration set at different points at the furnace.
In order to showcase this calibration process enabled in SAM we have done enhancements in front-end using Web-IDE and also we have enhanced backend services to fetch the calibration related data on to the UI as Calibration is not supported by SAM as a standard.
