PEPNET E-SUMMIT 3.0 DAY 1 was the third edition of Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET) capacity programme with the theme: Importance of Peace Education on Human Security by 4:00pm to 5:40pm (West African Time (WAT) on 19th January 2021.
The educative tour started when the Executive Director, Moses Abolade opened the event with an opening remark, pointing the aims and objective of the SUMMIT to peacebuilders and humanity at large.
The first speaker, Mr Nathaniel Awuapila spoke about Understanding Conflict Sensitivity and it's Contribution to Human Security. This was followed by a maiden presentation on Volunteering, Leadership for Peacebuilding by Mrs Chinenye Adeleye. Chinenye expresses exposes the interaction that exists between executive concepts.
Chief (Mrs) Kehinde Ijitona, was able to unveil to participants more on Conflict Management in Families and Human Security. In her words, she said, "there is a need to support PEPNET to make these approaches grow rapidly". The last speaker, Mrs Hilary Eboka from the NIger Delta discussed the Importance of Climate Change Education on Human Security. Obviously, the sessions really did justice to the matters that provide befitting structures to uphold human security, with the aim of granting him freedom from fear, lack and indignity.
