Depending on the weather, the views from Fleetwood seafront can be spectacular or just plain white! We caught the views on a decent day - next time we're at Fleetwood seafront in bright, sharp weather we'll make another version of this film!

Join us at the promenade at Fleetwood - we're near the lower lighthouse looking across Morecambe Bay. You'll clearly see Knott End and the ferry ride across the River Wyre. Out in the channel is Wyre Light lighthouse, and on the horizon is the huge offshore windfarm. It's a bit hazy to see the turbines today. In the distance over the Irish Sea and beyond Morecambe Bay is the shipyards at Barrow and the nuclear submarine sheds at BAE.

Views from Fleetwood also include the power station at Heysham. The hills of the Lake District, Grange and Ulverston come into view, depending on the weather. On a really clear day you'll see the Ashton Memorial at Williamson Park in Lancaster, and the buildings of Lancaster University.
