Two Palestinian fighters were killed by Israeli forces near the illegal Israeli settlement of Elon Moreh, northeast of Nablus. Both were former prisoners: Saoud al-Titi had spent 15 years in prison, while Muhammad Abu Diraa al-Boub had served seven years. Israeli forces are withholding the bodies of the two men.
The deaths bring the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli troops this year to at least 96.
