Turner made his UFC debut shortly thereafter, but at welterweight and got finished by Vicente Luque.

After which, Turner returned to lightweight to finish Callan Potter and a few months later lose a decision to Matt Frevola.

But in 2020, The Tarantula began an impressive 5 fight finishing streak, including a guillotine over Brad Riddell.

Unfortunately, in his toughest test, Turner lost a close decision to Mateusz Gamrot in 2023.
