More protective, lighter weight and lots cheaper than Apple Magic Keyboard?? Check out the Logitech Combo Touch! This keyboard case for the iPad Pro M4 (2024) uses Apple's Smart Connector system, so you don't need to mess with pairing or charging and it's priced $70 cheaper than Apple's Magic Keyboard. Plus it has some great features the Magic Keyboard lacks. First off, it's noticeably lighter weight. And secondly, unlike the Magic Keyboard, the Combo Touch isn't used with a naked iPad...instead, it comes with a slim protective case for your iPad Pro that protects your device while it is being used with the keyboard, and continues to protect your iPad Pro when the keyboard is detached. Attaching and detaching the keyboard is easy, as the connection between the two parts is magnetic. Additionally, the protective case features a built in stand so that it offers stand functionality to your iPad Pro whether it is in keyboard mode or not. And finally, due to the design of the keyboard case, Logitech was able to include a much larger trackpad than the Magic Keyboard has. And just like the Magic Keyboard, the Combo Touch has an excellent keyboard with a full row of dedicated function keys, so you aren't missing out there.
Of course, not everything is perfect, but in my opinion, the only real downside of the Combo Touch is its footprint in keyboard mode. Because of the design of the stand, it takes up considerably more room than the Apple Magic Keyboard, so it is not as easy to use in smaller spaces such as on your lap. However, the stand offers a much larger range of angles for your iPad Pro, and as previously mentioned, it can be used with or without the keyboard attached. Overall, there is a lot to love with the Combo Touch!
