British and French troops have taken up strategic positions on
Mount Igman overlooking Sarajevo but many of the soldiers said
they were apprehensive about their mission and the prospects of
suffering casualties in a battle with Bosnian Serbs. On Monday (24/7), British troops were digging emplacements for the state-of-the-art computerised weapons. The addition of the 105mm weapons strengthens the 1,000-strong force.
