Spring is upon us and I am SO ready for it! To get in the spirit, I spent a relaxing Sunday creating these DIY painted Easter eggs. Of course as I was doing this project I had a great view outside of all the snow still falling down (PLEASE LEAVE). I have a whole bin full of paint and I also wanted to experiment with the speckled paint technique that I used on some of the eggs. I went for a more neutral color palette, but still wanted to incorporate some Easter-like colors.
Paired with a cute basket I thrifted, I can't wait to style this in my new home!
Supplies:
- Wooden Eggs ([ Ссылка ])
- Paint (For the eggs I used Sunkissed Peach by Apple Barrel, Ivory by Apple Barrel, English Navy (that I mixed with Jet Black) by Apple Barrel, Granite Gray by Apple Barrel, Autumn Brown by Delta Creative, Rainy Day Gray by Anita's, Antique Maroon by Americana. For speckles I used Pure Gold by Folkart and Jet Black by Apple Barrel).
- Paint Brush ([ Ссылка ])
- Toothbrush ([ Ссылка ])
