Semi-Retired Foamer & Strange Modelers of Universal Trains
Combined Annual Christmas Party
Video and still footage showing the days rail and social action at Mascot in suburban Sydney.
The location was the former Mascot level crossing on the now duplicated, and very busy, Port Botany freight line. A great selection of locomotive types, including an incredible lashup of C B 45 GM C on a freight from Kelso.
Numerous of the endangered (rumoured) 14 class were also noted, along with the Crawfords train and others.
Coming soon, we take a look around the abandoned Otford and Helensburgh Tunnels before it closed for a three-year renovation.
This is what the internet was made for...........possibly.
You're welcome.
